PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Greetings!
On behalf of the dedicated members of the Invincible Inkster Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., it is my pleasure to welcome you to our online homepage. I am hopeful that you will learn a little more about who we are and what we do in Inkster and Western Wayne County. It is also my desire to have you visit our online homepage often as it will contain information you will need to remain current on our chapter programs and community events.
The 22 Founders of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. were determined to chart a path of equal rights for all people and applied the full measure of their considerable talents to make a difference. Inkster Alumnae members are true examples of the lifetime commitment made to this great sisterhood as we continue the legacy of our Founders.
Inkster Alumnae Chapter has served the Western Wayne County community for over 60 years through projects and programs that are aligned with the sorority’s national Five-Point Programmatic Thrust: Educational Development, Economic Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Political Awareness, and Physical and Mental Health-which is designed to educate and empower the community. It is my hope that you will view the chapter’s calendar and support our community events.
If you are a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and are new to the area or you’re looking for a chapter to call home, consider visiting IAC. I would personally like to extend a sisterly invitation to our chapter meetings, community events, as well as our sisterhood events. We are working all A.N.G.L.E.S. (Always Nurturing Growth, Leadership, and Excellence in our Sorority and Society) and we would love to have you too!
In Sisterly Love,
Dr. Kennetha S. Thompson
President
Inkster Alumnae Chapter
